Short comment on faith, science and Richard Dawkins 21/09/2011

I’m an evolution fan, although quite convinced of that we don’t yet know how evolution works. It’s such a complex process, and many factors might still be unknown. But the basic idea is convincing to me, and it’s one of my favourite spare time research topics. In that journey I have read some of the work of for example Richard Dawkins, and seen many of the films in which he explains Darwin’s ideas, the theory of evolution, different ideas on altruistic behaviour, etc. He has made so many interesting findings and delivered many fascinating ideas and concepts to the world – like memes (see below). A great mind indeed! Besides, he seems like such a nice person, especially when he holds a lecture for kids.

But even if he seems a really nice person, he can at times come over as a bit too sarcastic and too sure of the truth of his own world view. His atheism is  just as much faith-based as any other faith to me, and his failure to see that (or at least communicate that he realizes that if he does), is sad to see.

As a film maker I once had the great honour of making an interview with the distinguished mathematician and theoretical physicist Sir Roger Penrose and he told me that “we are far, far away from a theory of everything”. As I see it, we are still stumbling around, trying of grasp the extent of the complexity of our existence and life itself. We do not (yet) understand the underlying functions of reality, and since we don’t, it is dangerous to assume that one knows anything at all. There are many things that seem “proven” which turns out to be utterly wrong in the end since we do not yet completely understand the forces of nature, and definitely not the nature of existence. One can get certain results and assume that the findings point to a certain underlying process. Yet eventually, it turns out that they had nothing or little to do with that process, but with something completely different, or at least a bit different, and then new questions arises. And that is the beautiful process of finding things out.

I love science and the scientific approach. But I think that there limits to how far one can use science to really understand reality. There are even respected theoretical physicists who argues that we might not even have nor be able to develop neither the mind capacity nor the computer strength to ever do so.

Facts can be deceiving, even more so our interpretation of those facts. Just the neurological discoveries in the last 20 years on how much our memories, emotions, beliefs, etc affects our perception of reality says much about our ability to be “objective” – and here again, we don’t yet really know how these processes affects our experience of existence. Statistics, the base of much (most) science, can be so deceiving – just how one asks a question influences the answer – no matter if one researches on human behaviour or the reactions between chemical components. Besides, we have the measurement problem – not only people but also objects, physical processes, etc could be effected by the measurement process itself.

And then where are we really?

WIKI on Memetics:

“Memetics is a theory of mental content based on an analogy with Darwinian evolution, originating from Richard Dawkins‘ 1976 book The Selfish Gene. It purports to be an approach to evolutionary models of cultural information transfer. A meme, analogous to a gene, is essentially a “unit of culture”—an idea, belief, pattern of behaviour, etc. which is “hosted” in one or more individual minds, and which can reproduce itself from mind to mind. Thus what would otherwise be regarded as one individual influencing another to adopt a belief is seen memetically as a meme reproducing itself. As with genetics, particularly under Dawkins’s interpretation, a meme’s success may be due to its contribution to the effectiveness of its host. Memetics is notable for sidestepping the traditional concern with the truth of ideas and beliefs.”

Metaphysical Beliefs 30/07/2011

In short – I think we were once One-True-Love, now becoming One-and-Apart in True Love. In that process, we need to accept that we know nothing, but that every unique being knows a unique truth. I also think that somehow, at least in this Universe, all of One is coming into Creation at this point, and that is the reason for the evolution of consciousness that all of Existence in this Universe is experiencing (we particularly at the dates which the Maya Calender points out). I’m sure that many physicists would say that this is just fantasy – and yes, this is just fairytale, I love science, but these are my metaphysical beliefs and visions, nothing more, but also nothing less.

I also think that all that is experienced as “evil” is just Creation showing us what is not yet in place for True Love to flow. I also think, that with this insight, together with the insight that all is “One”, the “evil beings” are the ones who have made the largest sacrifice.

There is so much talk about “high” and “low” parts on ones being – I must say, I think “larger self” is a better term for “higher self”, although “larger” is also a measurement, it comes closer to acceptance of all that is. And the insight that Higher and Lower are words full of “value” in many of our societies, ideologies, etc, and I think, it can give the evolving mind a false impression. “Entire Being” can also be a term, in contrast to “Ego”. Its anyhow just about aspects of Self and One, in different dimensions, all just as valuable and amazing.

There is also much talk about all being One and letting in “the light” of Oneness, but little talk about the Divine Darkness as a part of that – as far as I have heard. Divine Darkness is the awesome Yin power in Creation, which is also the power of surrendering, of knowing without pretending “to know it all”. I think that it is time to stop using terms like “dark magic” and call it what it is – “demanding magic”. Darkness has nothing to do with what we call “evil”, rather on the contrary – surrendering to Unconditional Love in all, and not steering magic, is the lesson of Divine Darkness, of Yin-magic. Yang is setting the action, the seed, Yin is letting it grow with the rest of Existence, without pretending to control how. If you pretend to control how, you are using “Demanding Magic”, and will eventually burn out.

To tell “the true story of creation” I personally think that one has to be All of Creation – and even if we are all One, we are all just aspects of that one – you, me, angels, ascended beings, the Sun, Gaia, the Moon, everything, everybody.

I think that just as shamans say that “the human is the dream of the dolphin”, we are all the dreams of each other.

Everyone are prophets, All are creators. Together.

I love you – we love each other – all LOVES.

you are unique – all you do is ground-breaking

These are just words and thoughts. All I know is that I know nothing. My beliefs are under constant evolution.

Spiritual Conspiracy 20/09/2010

Spiritual Conspiracy – Brian Piergrossi – Anuna “1901″

I am definitely a part of this conspiracy =)

I must say, although I find this video very inspiring and touching, it is somewhat narrow in its idea on what one can do as a “spiritual conspirator”, and I do not understand why they have to say “you will not see us in the media” – well, that would count me out, and I think I’m in…

Dancing Into Existence 05/08/2010

wedding dance

image by armin, showing me dancing with my husband at our wedding

I’m coming into Existence
blazing with rhythm – I’m here
swirling, dancing for all that I´m worth
living a challenge: accepting re-birth

I do have my slow days
GodGoddess can tell
but I know I’ll be just fine
as long as I keep creeping out of my shell

impeccability, discipline, reverence
those words are often in my head as I dance
you might not dig the way I move
might not understand it -I have my own grove
and so do you
only you can know what is the right thing to do
in your life

I dance as I sit, I dance as I lie
I dance in my head and feel how I fly
I dance as I sit, I dance as I lie
I dance as I meditate and feel how I fly

I’m dancing into Existence
I take a chance to finally be
entirely here and present
that is all there is to me

In love I take my steps
I follow the rhythm of my heart
I might not always know the way
I do my best, breathing, letting it flow – and that’s a very good start

There’s no way of knowing if I’ll “make it”
until then I will not entirely be
thus I keep dancing as much as I can
hoping to step into the freedom of being me

in love with Existing, unconditionally

should I tell the fairytale? (fairytale only) 29/07/2010

with love!

reflections on karma and practising unconditional love in the real world 30/04/2010

Giving and recieving - image from Wikipedia

The discussion about Unconditional Love and Dark Beings is continuing on the Evolver-forum, and someone asked me how does living in unconditional love – or True Love as I call it – fit with living in the real world, without be taken advantage of. He continued saying that Karma is such an un-fair idea, that he detested the idea that we are suffering as a punishment for something that we have done earlier, and wondered if one then should tell a victim of abuse that they are just learning a lesson which they deserve and should love their abuser. Here some reflections on this:

When it comes to Karma, I think that this is a very misused concept, trivialized into some kind of punishment circle by our dominant institutions. How do we know that it is a punishment for a soul to suffer? Seriously – how do we know anything? How can we be sure that even the worst murderer cannot be “faster” (in the time dimension) enlightened that you, because suddenly it says click in this Being?

This is not at all saying that I promote that people should suffer, or murder, but that we really do not know anything for sure while walking in this Existence. Therefore I think that interpreting Karma is a very tricky issue easy to be mistaken on, even for an Enlightened Being, I imagine. I think that as A Being one is always “limited” to (or blessed with) interpreting of the Experienced, and no matter how accurate they are, these interpretations will always be faulty.

When it comes to interacting with other people I see it best to act according to our nature – which I believe to be True Love in Freedom, and here in this Existence we are evolving to exist as One-and-Apart in True Love. Please bare with me through abstract thoughts and I’ll get back to the practical ones:

Put into words, I believe that we were once One True Love and we wanted to Experience Loving. But only a truly free and thus open Being can vibrate in True Love, and the different Universes – Existence – are experiments around finding this. To do that we split up in unique pieces, free pieces – this is difficult, and I think what we Experience here on Earth right now is “finding our way” – which means making a lot of mistakes.

I think every time you walk into life you go through this transformation of being One becoming One-and-Apart, including when you go through a re-birth process while living, you re-experience this process. I see these re-experiences as steps in refining this process as a whole – and the “goal” is to Love each other, all the time, truly, even if we are a part.

At the same time, we are always at “the goal” – One-and-Apart in True Love as well as True Love as One, since at one level Time does NOT exist. I by the way believe that Experience always exists, and can be achieved with our without time.

By the way – do you know that there are scientists in theoretical physics that think that we are creating our Universe by sending signals back to the time to before the big bang, where all laws of physics brake down? This is what I am talking about – maybe this is how we create our reality, finding the way to express, vibrate in True Love with each other. I wrote more about this here, just some notes really:
http://florries.wordpress.com/2010/03/06/on-creating-reality-by-our-thou…

So – now finally =) – on a practical level this perspective brings with it the consequence that one can see how everyone are struggling to find their way to Freedom to get to vibrate in True Love – we all feel this way. And since we all feel this way, no one is really doing anything wrong or bad – they are just expressing “problems in our system” that need to be met.

Facing this can be difficult, and one can need help with it, and I think we should help each other in such situations and see it as an exercise in reaching freedom in True Love. In doing so, we promote our own True Nature. Therefore someone who is suffering is not only learning, but giving us an example – and a chance to help someone to freedom. Through helping we them we also help ourselves to freedom, not only because we are one but because such an experience can be very illuminating and help you understand your own process.

Now, with “someone who is suffering” I mean both “victims” and “offenders”, since they are both suffering from not being Free in True Love, although they might need to be helped/supported/inspired in different ways to become free. Maybe sometimes people even will be locked up because others experience them as too much harm – and I see no real bad thing in doing that. But imagine for a second a prison system who is inspired from seeing All as One in Unconditional, True Love – a place which truly works with love and compassion to free its inhabitants from beings slaves under their disturbed emotions…

So do we “deserve” the suffering we get in life? I think basically that we only deserve True Love and Freedom, in transformative peace. But I believe that on one level we have chosen to go through this process to become One-and-Apart in True Love.

I am writing on a theory called The Theory of the Blooming Society and the Positive Multitude which talks about this in a more scientific way, using deductive logical argumentation and science to talk about what we gain on loving each other

- so “I’ll be back” like we say in Austria – quite soon actually =)

I accept that the answer to the question “who am I?” is eternal
