THE SPIRIT QUEST - a pitch for your-big-break
This is my entry in the competition Your-Big-Break.com -
if I win I get to go to New Zealand and make a 3 min film about the country with the people behind Lord of the Rings amongst other things…
I am in love with the idea I have for the film, I hope you like it too:
The Spirit Quest is about two female elves who appear in the middle of a square in Queenstown, New Zealand, right after dawn on a warm summer morning. The younger one of them is on a Spirit Quest – to find the Spirit of New Zealand. Since the Young Elf is reluctant – she would rather have a mission in some distant, cool astral dimension – the older Calm Elf starts to inspire her with tales of New Zealand, its culture and its people.
As she tells her stories we travel over this breathtaking country, getting impressions from its vast variety of realities and places, thus discovering why it can compete with any astral dimension. In the end, the Young Elf finds the Spirit of New Zealand in a very surprising form, which will leave as well her as the spectator happy and warm inside, and the film as a whole will leave anyone thrilled about New Zealand, and Queenstown!

THE FAIRYTALE
Once upon a time there was True Love in the middle of Nothing. True Love was full of joy and harmony, but it was lonely, it had no one to share everything with.
So True Love made a hard decision, and split itself into billions and trillions of pieces, screaming of pain, but also singing in joy! Because True Love knew, that once all the billions and trillions of pieces had fallen into harmony, it would be able to see and love itself as the wonderful creation that it is! And it would never be lonely again.
You are a part of True Love, and so are your friends and so are your enemies. Remember your origin, and you will look upon the world in a different way.
EL CUENTO DE HADAS
Una vez habia Amor Verdadero en la mitad de Nada. Amor Verdadero era lleno de felizidad y harmonia, pero se sentia sólo, no tenía a nadie con quien podía compartir todo.
Asi que Amor Verdadero hacía una decisión muy difícil, y se compartió en billiones y trilliones de piecos, gritando del dolor, !pero también cantando de felizidad! Porque sabía que, una vez que todos los piecos habrián caido en harmonía, !sería capaz de verse y amarse a si mismo por la creación fantastica que es! Y nunca más estaría sólo.
Tú eres una parte del Amor Verdadero, y también lo son tus amigos, y tus enemigos. Recuerda tú origín y mirarás al mundo en una manera diferente.
SAGAN
En gång fanns Sann Kärlek i mitten av Ingenting. Sann Kärlek var full av lycka och harmoni, men kände sig ensam, den hade ingen att dela allt med.
Så Sann Kärlek tog ett svårt beslut, och delade sig i billioner och trillioner bitar, skrikande av smärta, men också sjungande av glädje! För Sann Kärlek visste att när väl alla de billioner och trillioner bitarna fallit på plats, skulle den kunna se och älska sig själv som den fantastiska skapelse den verkligen är! Och den skulle aldrig vara ensam igen.
Du är en del av Sann Kärlek, och så är dina vänner, och dina fiender. Minns ditt ursprung och du kommer att se på världen på ett annat sätt.

Also traf Wahre Liebe eine schwierige Entscheidung, und explodierte in Billionen und Trillionen Einzelteile, schreiend von Schmerz, aber auch singend von Freude! Weil Wahre Liebe wusste, das wenn einmal all die Billionen und Trillionen Teile Harmonie gefunden haben, wäre es fähig sich selber zu sehen und lieben als die wunderbare Kreation die es ist! Und es würde nie wieder alleine sein.
Du bist ein Teil von Wahre Liebe, und so sind es auch deine Freunde, und deine Feinde. Erinnere dich wo du herkommst, und du wirst die Welt anders sehen.
